VERY GOOD Images in Ivory: Precious Objects of the Gothic Age Paperback. This is from the Detroit Institute of Arts, in association with the Princeton University Press in Princeton, New Jersey. This is a beautiful book from the DIA in 1997 which is basically like new. Sat on a shelf for 18 years, untouched. Obviously, the cover and edges have some wear, but it is in excellent condition for a coffee table book. The pages are basically like new. If you like researching Gothic Age art, this book is for you. It focuses on sculptures and “precious objects” in particular from that era.
